The problem
Stripe Billing works perfectly in the US and Europe. In LATAM the local tax integration is dense, country-specific, and changes with regulation. Every LATAM SaaS ends up with a Frankenstein of Stripe + local tax integration done quickly.
What Plutus does
Plutus is the billing engine for LATAM SaaS. Subscriptions, plans, proration, dunning — but with native tax integration per country via Thoth.
Charges via Stripe (or Mercado Pago in Chile) and issues DTE automatically to the SII via gRPC to Thoth. No manual glue.
Current state
In design. Complete architecture. No repo. Blocked by Thoth’s SII certification.
When it unblocks
Q4 2026 — at Thoth’s SII certification closure.
